I just moved to York from Texas, and lived in Hawaii before that, and I'd like to make some new friends (or maybe more?) in my new area, so I'm trying to meet cool, nice, fun, smart ppl around my age.

I went to University of Delaware, majored in Interpersonal Communication, and minored in Fine Arts (where I learned to paint, weld steel, and use a blow torch to cut metal!)

My passion lies within all of the arts, and I love acting, singing, dancing (both around my living room and on stage), etc. Plus I love great movies, working out, relaxing, and epic conversations about anything and everything, from the deep and philosophical to the trivial and silly, and just having fun!

I'm negative, postive and a complete hypocrite much like the rest of this world. I'm honestly nothing special, I just sing in the car and hate dancing in the rain. I'm rather opinionated, I suggest you not talk to me unless you have the backbone to withstand them. I like the paint, color with markers and write poems. As far as music goes, it depends on the day really. I can speak some Lakota! And I taught myself most of the art work I do today. I love Vermont although I've never, ever been there. Along with rainboots. :D I love the snow and the sun. I can't snowboard, but I really want to learn. I ride horses and honestly, I'm pretty damn good at it. Anywayyy, I have no idea what else to put here. Haha

I am pursuing a RN degree, but recently I have been giving that a lot of thought.

Other than my fascinating hobbies of completing assignments, studying for tests, and reading textbooks.....I would have to say that I enjoy cooking (from scratch), watching movies, and wasting time on the internet. When the weather is warmer that all changes. I come out of my cave and like to explore mountains and beaches. Hiking, camping, fishing, concerts, road trips....you can't keep this girl indoors! I love to experience places that I have never been before. I enjoy doing all of this with my two girls, 12 and almost 9.

Time with my friends and family is precious to me, and I live to create memories that will last a lifetime.

Here's one important truth about me: I have a tender heart. Yes, I know that others need to learn to take care of themselves. And sometimes, even when your instinct is to help them, I will let them fend for themselves and let them suffer the consequences of their choices or circumstances.

But most of the time I am there to help when they need me. If they are in trouble, I offer compassion and go out of my way to be helpful. If they need someone who will listen, I am trustworthy and sympathetic. And I am direct with them; when they need advice or counsel, I offer it in a straightforward, direct manner, without beating around the bush.

I'm also smart enough to know that I cannot take good care of others if I fail to take good care of myself, so I listen to my own wants and needs. If I've run out of sympathetic energy, I spend time restoring myself. If I've ignored my own pain or frustration, I will find a friend who will listen well, or go into my own private healing place and give myself permission to focus on me.

But before long, I'm back at it with my friends, offering a sympathetic ear and compassion on which they learn to trust, also giving straightforward advice and counsel when they ask for it. I do know how to take care of myself, but my genuine interest is in taking care of others.

My long time roommate and lover decided in February to have a baby with me and Jack will be born in November. I am so excited and can't wait for him to get here.

From the minute I wake up in the morning, I'm always trying to pack as much into the day as I can. I hate feeling like my day is wasted. I love being on the go and I'd love to find someone who can keep up with me.

Photography, art, painting, graphics, learning every new sof tware that I can get my hands on. Canon camera shooting and equiptment. I have an extensively dorky side that makes me able to talk tech shop with the best of the engineer crowd. Don't let it fool you. I can just as easily be found tailgating at a football game, shooting you under that table at pool at a bar or snuggling up in front a of fire watching a movie. I'm not a high maintence chick. In fact quite versatile. I seem to strike it up quick with artists, muscians and other photographers.

Lets see...so hard to learn about someone in a little box. I lead a pretty hectic life, between work, my son and family obligations. That being said I do have some free time and am looking for someone interesting to share it with. I've lost a parent, gotten married, had a child, got divorced and lost a grand parent in the last 5 years, so my goals and outlook on life have changed a lot, and are actually still a work in progress. I have learned to live more for today, while planning for tomorrow. I believe a positive outlook/attitude can help guide a person thru almost anything.

I don't feel like filling this out right now. That being said, I tend to procrastinate. I am a lot of fun and a bit off the wall at times. I get along with most everyone and usually want to like everyone, even if its not exactly the best idea. I love going to see stand up comedy, however I could pass on seeing a movie in the theatre.
I've got a 5 year old son who is pretty amazing. He is (currently) obsessed with Indiana Jones. I don't know much about Indy, but my husband thankfully does. My husband is also pretty amazing. We're a good match, if I do say so myself.

i have an amazing bf now = sorry <3 well lets see, I am 20 yrs old.. 21 soon fuck yea. lol I love to go out with my friends and party.. even though i can see myself growing out of it more and more. I have been in a lot of relationships since I was like 16.. I always give my whole heart and get screwed over, whatev tho, they always come back.. aint that the truth. I love 90's grunge rock and any type really, also i like rap and r&b.. thanks to my job they have me hooked on county blahh lol. I used to live in ALA so deep down im a bad mama jama down from alabama = im always the center of attention i really cant help it im just very outgoing. usually other females dont get me and are rude to me but i just laugh it off. I have a very few close guy friends and even fewer best girl friends.. but the ones i do have i cherish bc they are the shit and we have a blast together. They are the only ones who really get me and i like to keep it that way. I love mystery movies/books and I think i try to live my life as one hahhaha.

I'm a dick and a grunt but I love to act like an idiot for fun. I tend to embarrass friends in public and have a serious case of verbal diarrhea. I enjoy being around people with unique or dark senses of humor who enjoy having good times, good fun, and good food.

To dig a little deeper I spent 8 years in the Army as an engineer, building shit and blowing stuff up all while toting a machine gun and the occasional Listerine bottle filled with Jack. I am a combat vet and I openly admit to making dead people with no remorse, don't try to kill me and I wont kill you. Simple right? I worked as a manager for a drug store for 6 years while doing the Army up until they decided to terminate me for utilizing free speech. Fuckers on the bright side the guy who canned me now looks like he's in the final stages of AIDS so hopefully he'll be dead soon. Right now I'm an independent contractor which is short for the economy is shit and I needed work so I took a job working for myself. Contracts are coming in slow but hopefully after the new year I'll get more if not there's always gay porn I guess, It's not gay if you're doing the fucking and getting blown is it? LOL.

I basically am a fun loving person that just needs some extra sexual attention every now and then and some good friends, perhaps there's some people in PA who share my hobbies as a gamer or enjoy building shit. I have no idea what there is to do here all I do know is I hated when people would ask me about sports I hate it even more now when people ask me about hunting, if it doesn't talk or try to kill me I let it live. PA does seem to have a lot of woods and lakes to check out and there's some rafting so that's nice but there's none of that great salt air like I get from back in NH where I'm from, yes I don't pronounce my R's.

Right now im tryin to go with the flow of things. Workin 6 days a week and bankin it. Lookin for a change up though .

I'm a senior at York College of PA. I am a member of KDR and drink on the weekends. I do all the stuff you'd expect someone my age to do, watch TV, play video games, hang out, that sort of thing.

Well I'm not a hard guy to figure out. I'm a nerd and well most of what I'm into follows that. I love video games, movies, comics, reading, computers, and a whole lot of other geeky things. I'm very into photography, drawing as well. I would call myself a very laid back nice guy. I'm have been told I'm funny, intelligent, and have a wonderful radio voice. I'll put more in later.

I'm a laid back guy that tries not to worry or get stressed out over anything, however it does happen. I'm always in a good mood, and when I do get angry, it's either very hard to tell, or I get over it quickly. I'm constantly smiling, even when there's no one around.

I turn 22 on January 28th. I am passionate about being a good friend to others. I always want to make people happy. I love to play the drums. I hope someday that I can have a semi-decent band that will be able to do local shows. I love football and love to have a great time.
