Description:
May 31, 2008 - June 1, 2008 The Taste of Pennsylvania Wine & Music Festival is hosted by the Sons of the American Legion Post 403 and presented by the Peak 98.5 FM. The festival's goal is to showcase the great diversity in wines that are made across the state of PA. With wineries from across the state a guest will be able to note the differences that climate, soil, rain and winemaking can make in the taste of a wine. The event will be held on May 31st and June 1st at the York Fairgrounds in York PA. The cost is $15 in advance and $20 at the gate. Tickets are available online by visiting www.yorkwinefest.com or at any Nell's, Sauble's or Wetzel's Shurfine market locations. There are three live bands per day, the performance schedule is as follows: Saturday 12-2 The New Groove, 2:30-4 Automatic Slim, 4:30-6 Grandsons, Sunday 11-1 Kirk "the idiot" Folk, 1:30-3 Mark DeRose, 3:30-5 Gypsy Fish.
