Friday Tournament Location: Postal code 17404, United States York, Pennsylvania 17404 Starts at: 7:00 PM This is not an all day event Description: No Limit Hold 'Em Tournament $50 buy-in 10,000 starting chips stack (Blind levels same as WPT at Borgata) 2008 WPT Poker Satellite System $40 per person will go into the prize pool for the evenings payout. $10 per person remains in prize pool for the WPT satellite EVERYONE earns points towards the championship event for the WPT satellites. For every point scored during Friday tournaments a player will earn 50 chips towards the championship event. (example: Earn 10 points and receive 500 chips to use during the championship event). You accumulate points all season on ALL Friday and Sunday games in the WPT satellite series. Every player that accumulates points will be eligible to play the final BYOB championship satellite tournament for the $1000 WPT event seats. The WPT event will be in Atlantic City, NJ at the Borgata in January 2009. Starting chips stacks for this BYOB satellite tournament championship will be determined by the number of points that each player accumulates during the entire season from playing in both Friday and Sunday games. A player earns points based on when they are eliminated from a tournament. Example: A player who is knocked out first will receive one point. A player that is knocked out 12th will receive 12 points. If enough money is raised for two seats then the top two finishers at the championship satellite will both receive a $1000 + 80 seat. All left over money that does not equal a full seat will be paid out to the next finisher. Ex. $2475 in prize pool then 1st gets a seat, 2nd gets a seat, and 3rd place finisher gets $315. Prize Pool Projection: At the current number of players with the current number of buy ins we will have approximately $3240. (This is based on an average of 20 players for Fridays/10 players for Sundays) Player points will be posted at all times in the poker room and individual tournament results will also be available. Saturday tournament points do not apply, no money from our Saturday tournament goes towards this satellite system.
