“This school seems to be very disorganized and them don't really seem to have a curriculum. They seems to have been a turnover from last year. All of the staff memebers are new. The teachers are new to teaching. Don't do it!”

“Tri-Community utilizes the 'America's Choice' Curriculum for school design. There are P.E., Sports, Music, and Computer Lab programs. One of the features that I appreciate most about this school is its unique setting. It is located on the secure grounds of the Armed Forces Retirement Home (AFRH)in Northwest DC. The partnership between the AFRH and the school allows the students to attend concerts and visit the studios of working artists without leaving the campus. There are lots of trees and wide, grassy areas for playing and nature walks. It is worth your time to check out this school in person. Speaking of time, if you enroll your child(ren), you will be asked to sign an agreement committing yourself/spouse to volunteering at least 12 hours per school year. There is a very active Parent Advisory Committee to support healthy and expedient communication between home and school. Pre-K 3 and 4 & Kindergarten -5th.”
