They have great art and sports programs and one of the best support networks as far as tutoring, mentoring,truancy available in DC. Parents are encouraged and called upon to participate. I have a son and daughter in this school and would recommend it to any parent. It's successful because of the genuiness of the school administration. Not a lot of fighting or bullying. Good teacher to child ratio. Children learn when they go to class. Praises to Dr. Ulysteen for running a top notch ship for our youth! They also have different cultured students coming in. If you are trying to put your child out of a public school and put them in this one because of education i defintly reccommend but for fighting i dont because every other week or so someones going to argue.Every month or so someones going to fight and get major consequenses. 2 out of 10 your child is going to be one of them, but it is an excellent school to be public.”
